Situated on the borders of Shropshire, Cheshire and North Wales. Five miles from Whitchurch, ten miles from Wrexham and five miles from Ellesmere with neighbouring Malpas very close by.
This places The Hanmer Arms Hotel in a very unique spot, amidst the beautiful village of Hanmer - a tranquil and idyllic community which offers visitors a rare insight into rural life, within easy distance of many local attractions.
We pride ourselves on friendliness, warmth, and attentiveness to our guests. Roaring log fires, rustic decor and home cooked local produce together with a convivial atmosphere makes for an enjoyable break from fast and busy lifestyles.
We are happy to offer a place to stay, meet, quaff and eat in great ambience, as all hostileries should.
The Hanmer Arms provides great facilities for conferences/seminars, small or large meetings and functions. We also have many years' experience in conducting wedding receptions and have an added advantage of St Chads Church being only a stone's throw away from The Hanmer Arms for a traditional ceremony. We also hold a civil licence and can boast a beautiful backdrop for photographs."
