Weston Park

1. Private Themed Visits
During all academic terms schools visits are offered, led by Weston Park Staff, based on the following subjects:

• Toys from the Past
  Uses the collection of traditional toys to enhance the children’s learning experience
• World War II
  Includes black out experience and a visit to the authentic Anderson Shelter
• Santa Special Visits
  December – a full day of activities to enhance a traditional visit to see Santa
• Wildlife Days – for KS1 and lower KS2

2. Summer Season Visits
Available during the last four weeks of the summer term. The number of visiting schools and children are limited each day to ensure the quality of the visit.

Available for the summer visits are:

• Yew Hedge Maze and Orchard
• Victorian costumed tours of the House
• Adventure Playground
• Activity sessions
• Miniature Railway
• Wildlife Walks linked to “Life Processes and Living Things”
• Resource packs linked to NC & QCA schemes of work
• Video Presentation
