Severn Valley Railway Map

Simply follow the brown tourist signs to find your way to the Severn Valley Railway.
Click on the maps below to see the locations of our railway stations.
The 'Town Maps' are available in PDF format and require the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software.

Kidderminster Town Station...

Satellite Navigation: Kidderminster Station, Comberton Hill, DY10 1QX

Situated on Comberton Hill, the A448 Kidderminster - Bromsgrove road and is signposted from Kidderminster Ring Road, the A449 Worcester - Wolverhampton road. It is also signposted from the M5 Junction 3 southbound and northbound and M5 junction 6 northbound.
Follow the brown tourist signs depicting the little steam engine.

Those arriving by coach are recommended to use the set-down point adjacent to the booking hall entrance, as this will avoid a significant walk to reach the station platform from our coach and car park.

The SVR car and coach park is situated to the right of the station building as you approach it.
The car park to the left of the SVR station is operated by Central Trains.

On Bank Holiday weekends and other days when the Railway is exceptionally busy there are other car parks within a few minutes walk of the station.

All car parks are “pay & display”.

Bewdley Station...

Satellite Navigation: Bewdley Station, Station Road, DY12 1BG

Situated just off Stourport Road. Follow the brown tourist signs from the Bewdley bypass, the A456 Kidderminster-Leominster road.

At Bewdley there is a car and coach park adjacent to and within easy reach of the platforms.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS NO TURNING CIRCLE FOR COACHES AT BEWDLEY AND THAT THE CAR PARK IS OFTEN CONGESTED.

A PUBLIC COACH PARK IS SITUATED IN THE TOWN CENTRE ON DOG LANE CAR PARK.

Arley, Highley & Hampton Loade Stations...

The narrow country lanes are unsuitable for normal coaches at these stations and there are no general parking facilities.

Country Park Halt & Northwood Halt...

At both of these stations, trains stop by request only and then only during daylight hours.

Country Park Halt has no road access.

Whilst there is road access to Northwood Halt, the lane is very narrow and there are no stopping places for vehicles.

Bridgnorth Station...

Satellite Navigation: Bridgnorth Station, Hollybush Road, WV16 5DT

Situated in Hollybush Road on the west side of the River Severn and is signposted from the A458 Birmingham - Stourbridge- Shrewsbury road and the A442 Telford - Kidderminster road.
The car and coach park at Bridgnorth is long and narrow. Coaches are strongly advised to use the parking bays provided at the bottom of the station approach road. There is a short uphill walk from the coach parking point to the station platforms. Children will need to be closely supervised on this car park.

If the SVR coach park is full, parties should be dropped-off at the bottom of the slope leading up to the station and the coach then moved to the Severn Street coach park in Low Town, Bridgnorth.
Turn right out of the station car park into Hollybush Road and cross the river at Bridge Street. Follow signs for Kidderminster, the A442. The coach park is signposted and is to the right of the A442 in Severn Street.
All car parks are “pay & display”.

PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO TURN COACHES NEAR TO THE STATION BUILDING.

Car Park Charges...

The Severn Valley Railway operates ‘pay & display’ car parks at Kidderminster and Bridgnorth. Parking at Bewdley Station is currently free of charge.
