Dorothy Clive Garden to host Bee Keeping Lecture (6th January 2012)

The Dorothy Clive Garden will be hosting a Bee Keeping Lecture on Saturday 4th February 2012 at 11.00am to 12.30pm. The lecture will be led by Chas Burgin, a member of the North Staffordshire Bee Keeping Association, and all attendees will be charged £7.50 (or £6.50 for Dorothy Clive Garden Members).

Administrator, Julia Roberts, said, ‘Bees play a vital role in many eco systems in the U.K. and in particular here at the Dorothy Clive Garden. I am attending the lecture myself and it really is a must for anyone considering keeping bees for the first time, or looking for hints and tips on better Bee care.’

The garden will also be open exclusively for Winter Walks from 10.00 to 4.00pm at the reduced price of £3.00 entry per person. The garden tearoom will also be open for hot drinks and homemade soup.
