Bookings are now being accepted for Ludlow’s exciting new £3 million luxury touring caravan and motorhome park, which will open its gates to customers on Wednesday, May 9.

Five star Ludlow Touring Park, which has been developed by Shrewsbury-based Morris Leisure on the outskirts of the ancient South Shropshire town, will open in time for the Beer, Bangers and Bread Ludlow Spring Food Festival on May 12 and 13.
The 135-pitch park, located on a 20-acre site alongside the River Teme and with good road links to the A49 near Richards Castle, is already generating huge interest from caravanners who are keen to pay a visit.
The mild winter weather has allowed main contractor Capital Construction of Shrewsbury to make excellent progress on the project.
Morris Leisure’s managing director Edward Goddard said: “After months of waiting, we are delighted to announce that Ludlow Touring Park will be open for business on May 9 and bookings are now being accepted.
“It’s an exciting time for everyone associated with the new park, which is generating an incredible amount of interest from caravanners and motorhome owners from across the UK.
“We believe it is going to enhance the local tourism offer and generate around £1 million a year for Ludlow and surrounding area, which has got to be good news for the local economy in these challenging times.
“We are immensely grateful for the tremendous support that we have received throughout the planning process from our existing customers, county councillors and the local community.”
The opening is timed perfectly, as visiting caravan and motorhome owners will be able to enjoy the delights of Ludlow Spring Festival, which is now in its fourth year.
The festival offers more than 140 real ales on draught from small breweries in Wales and the Marches, producers selling seriously good food, a huge display of classic cars and fantastic music inside Ludlow Castle over the weekend.
Morris Leisure also owns four other high quality caravan parks in Shropshire and Snowdonia. Stanmore Hall Touring Park, Bridgnorth and Riverside Touring Park, Betws-y-Coed are prestigious affiliated sites of The Caravan Club, while the company also owns Oxon Hall Touring and Holiday Home Park, Shrewsbury and Bow House Country Park, Bishops Castle.
