It’s all going to be 20.12, in 2012 (10th February 2012)

Hadley Park Hotel in Shropshire has decided to mark what promises to be a memorable year in Britain with a series of special offers.

Taking 2012 as the starting point, the hotel will be switching the price of their highly popular Sunday lunch to £20.12 per head; offering two people the chance to stay in one of their luxurious rooms for £20.12 per person; and creating a 2012 Celebration Package (suited to a wedding with 50 guests) at a cost of £2,012.

It’s all part of an imaginative set of marketing initiatives for 2012 – which, as well as offering some value for money offers to their guests - will also help to position Hadley Park House Hotel, in Telford, as one of the places in Britain to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the Olympic Games, Leap Year, and even “The Best of British” during the coming year.

“We are proud of what we are able to offer our guests, here at Hadley Park House Hotel.  So if you can forgive the Olympics pun, what we now want to do is raise the bar that little bit higher for 2012,” says owner and General Manager, Mr Mark Lewis.  “We’ll be running our 2012 theme throughout the year, and introducing each of the packages and surprises we’re planning one-by-one.  We think we’ve got a line-up that will take some beating!”

Hadley Park House Hotel hit the press last year when head chef, Mark Harris cooked for both the Prime Minister and his Cabinet, as well as the full Shadow Cabinet during the party conference season.  And in 2011, the hotel ended up on television as it staged a wedding on the same day Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot.

Now, it plans to kick off 2012 by offering Sunday lunches at £20.12 per person.  And then giving guests the chance to book a room for just £20.12 per person (based on two people sharing; while paying for breakfast and dinner separately).

The 2012 Celebration Package for 50 people (available between Sunday and Thursday but excluding Bank Holidays), meanwhile, will feature a red carpet entrance; three-course meal, bucks fizz, glass of house wine or soft drinks on arrival; a decorated cake with cake stand and knife, choice of linen napkins and table cloths; a table floral arrangement to match the chosen colour scheme; a Master of Ceremonies; the services of a dedicated event planner; venue hire; preferential accommodation rates with a complimentary suite for the night if eleven bedrooms are booked.  Table flowers and cake are also included in the price of £2,012.

Owners Mark and Geraldine Lewis are now looking forward to revealing more of their plans for the coming year, which will help to put The Diamond Jubilee, Olympics, Leap Year, and the “Best of British Food” and “Best of British Humour” under the spotlight.
