Take inspiration from life under water and join in family workshops and activities being staged at Coalport China Museum in Shropshire’s Ironbridge Gorge during the summer school holidays. The sea worlds themed workshops will take place from Monday to Friday from Monday, 29th July until Friday, 30th August 2013.
On Mondays you can join drop-in workshops to personalise a ceramic mug with brightly coloured fish using on-glaze painting, while on Tuesdays and Wednesdays you can create your own rock pool out of clay. On Thursdays and Fridays take inspiration from life under the water and use your imagination to model your very own sea-creatures.
The summer workshops at Coalport China Museum will be held from 11am until 1pm and 2pm until 4pm; ceramic activities carry an additional fee of £4 per item plus £3 to post your finished piece back to your home after firing.
