Summer Holiday Family Fun at Hoo Farm Animal Kingdom (19th July 2013)

Hoo Farm Animal Kingdom is excited to announce a summer of animal fun with new exhibits to see over 120 different species of animal around the farm trail and family activities taking place all day every day.

The farm boasts a mile long farm trail which includes over 120 species of animal, including a selection of reptiles, Lemurs, Donkeys, Water Buffalo, Porcupine, Middle-white Pigs, Meerkats and the noisy parrots.

New resident “Maldi” the snaked neck turtle is looking forward to meeting lots of people at the "Meet the Exotics demonstrations" and joins over new recruits such as a baby Caiman crocodile. Other new exhibits include the walk through Wallaby enclosure which completes the Wallaby Woods. Visitors will be able to wander through the paddocks and see Bounce, Skip, Hop, Jump and Dodge up close and in their home environment.

Also this will see the launch of the Hoo Farm animal show introduction some of the animal favourites in a fun fairy tail story. Will Dorrell, Head of Demonstrations at Hoo Farm said "At Christmas we perform a Nativity performance featuring the animals and visitors children, it has always been a big hit and so we decided to try and do something similar for the Summer Holidays with a new story and hopefully more fun. As we always say working with Animals and Children means anything really can happen".

Other activities will run everyday between 11am and 4.30pm and will include Egg Collecting, Lemur time, The Sheep Steeplechase and many more.
