Make Quatt your next stop (12th September 2013)

Make Quatt your next stop

If you are a regular traveller along the A442 Bridgnorth to Kidderminster Road you might have noticed some recent changes at the side of the road. The National Trust’s Dudmaston Estate have been working closely with the new owners of Quatt Farm Shop, Martin and Florence Rutter, over the 2014 summer, to improve the look of the property and have this week installed some new signage.

The sign, created by Dudmaston’s Forest Crafts Ranger, has been made out of chestnut grown on the Estate, and not only provides information to travellers of what is available at the farm shop but will help to improve the image of the property and hopefully encourage new visitors.

Area Ranger, Mike Annis said “Quatt is an important part of the Dudmaston Estate. The Farm Shop’s new owners have made some significant improvements, and we wanted to help encourage more shoppers to visit the site to see the produce available for themselves. We do hope that the new sign will assist them in achieving this.”

The Quatt Farm Shop is open 7 days a week selling fresh meat, cheese, locally produced vegetables and hot meals to eat in or take away. Why not call in next time you are passing to see what there is on offer for you.
