Award Winning Chef Will Holland to Open Restaurant in Bridgnorth (22nd October 2013)

Multi-award-winning chef, Will Holland, who came to prominence after securing a Michelin star for La B├ęcasse, in Ludlow, has secured a property in Bridgnorth and will open his new restaurant in Spring 2014.

He said, “I have formed my own company and I am extremely pleased that my offer on a property in Bridgnorth has been accepted. The restaurant will have my name above the door and we plan to open in Spring 2014. This is a very exciting time for me and all involved in this project. I am delighted to be remaining in the county of Shropshire, where I have lived for the past seven years. I will be able to continue to build on the relationships I have with local food producers, farmers and suppliers.”

Will Holland has featured regularly on television, including ‘Saturday Kitchen Live’, becoming Midland’s Regional Champion on ‘The Great British Menu’ and beating The Hairy Bikers in a televised food challenge for their ‘Food Tour of Great Britain’ programme.

He has received numerous awards and accolades, including an Acorn Award and three AA rosettes. He has been credited in The National Restaurant Awards, The Good Food Guide, Harden’s UK Restaurant Guide, The Sunday Times, Metro and many others, and The Good Food Guide predicted he would become one of the ‘ten most influential chefs of the decade’.
