Last minute gifts for Christmas 2013 - Cycling & Walking Holiday vouchers (23rd October 2013)

An ideal gift for active people - a cycling or walking short break holiday in the wonderful borderlands of England and Wales. Wheely Wonderful Cycling and Walking holiday vouchers are available in units of £25 to £100.

The vouchers can be used to part or fully pay for any of the 30 cycling & walking holidays run by Wheely Wonderful Cycling. The recipient can chose the start date and the holiday; there are tours suitable for everyone, from easy Farmhouse Cycle tours for families to luxurious Country House Cycle Breaks.

The holiday packages include excellent quality accommodation, with a choice of hotel, inn or B&B. Top quality bike hire, luggage transfers, unique route guides and full back up. Details of all the holidays can be found on www.wheelywonderfulcycling.co.uk or ring 01568 770755 for advice on the best one to chose. Here are a couple of example tours;

The Quietest Cycle tour under the Sun (2 days, 2 nights). A weekend cycle tour to the charming border village of Clun - with three traditional inns, a teashop and a castle. This is possibly the most perfect cycle route we have ever found. Follows the unspoilt river valleys of the Teme, Clun and Redlake, along easy gradients leading up into the beautiful Clun Hills. Staying in Farmhouses. Price £180pp.

Or walk our Two Castles Walk (2 days, 2 nights). Explore the best parts of the Mortimer Trail. Follow the Trail through moorland to the National Trust’s Croft Castle. Over Croft Ambrey - an Iron Age hill fort with magnificent views across 14 counties, and down to welcome sight of the riverside inn. Then back through the ancient stronghold of the Mortimer Family to visit Wigmore Castle. Easy walking with some steep sections. Total 16 miles. Staying in Farmhouses/guesthouses. Price £155pp.
