Pick up Victorian Household Hints with Mrs Clack at Blists Hill Victorian Town (12th February 2014)

Pick up Victorian Household Hints with Mrs Clack at Blists Hill Victorian Town

Mrs Clack, one of the many ‘residents’ at Blists Hill Victorian Town, near Ironbridge will be giving advice on cures for common ailments and everything to do with running a Victorian home over Mother’s day weekend of 29th and 30th March 2014.

Whether seeking advice on treating a cold or relief from painful corns and bunions, Mrs Clack will be on hand to provide expert advice (as she sees fit). She will also be sharing her considerable knowledge on how to get soot stains off the carpet, make silver shine and other household chores at two sessions each day starting at 11am and 2.30pm opposite the Town’s Printers, weather permitting, or inside the Goods Shed.

Open 10am to 5pm, Blists Hill Victorian Town is one of the Ironbridge Gorge Museums. A great value Annual Passport Ticket allowing entry into all ten museums, valid for twelve months and unlimited return visits, costs £27.50 per adult, £21 for the 60 plus, £16.50 for students and children and £68 for a family of two adults and all their children aged up to 18 years in full time education (terms and conditions apply); under 5s free. Activities may vary and a Museum ticket is required to take part. Individual museum entry tickets are also available.

For further information, contact the Ironbridge Tourist Information Centre on Tel: 01952 433 424 or visit www.ironbridge.org.uk. The Gorge is easily reached via the M6 and M54 motorways exiting at Telford (M54 junction 4 or 6).
