Enjoy a delicious Afternoon Tea on Mother's Day at the Dorothy Clive Garden (19th March 2014)

The Dorothy Clive Garden - a 12 acre charitable garden trust - is to host a special Afternoon Tea for Mothering Sunday on Sunday 30th March 2014 from 12noon until 4pm.

The Mothers Day Special afternoon tea will include a selection of fresh finger sandwiches, a selection of delicious cakes - including homemade scones - and a choice of tea or freshly filtered coffee. No Booking is required.

Visitors will be able to delight in the intimate and informal gardens set amidst glorious countryside and enjoy the early flowering shrubs such as Hamamelis (witch hazel), Helleborus niger (Christmas rose), Viburnum x bodnantense, Daphne bholua ‘Jacqueline Postill’, evergreens & emerging daffodils.

A garden gift shop - adjacent to the garden tea room - is now open selling various items of gift ware suitable for birthdays including Dorothy Clive Garden branded products, gift cards, RHS branded luxury soaps and bathing products.

A play area for children has been developed at the back of the garden tea room, including a robust ‘buzz tower’ with rock climber, log ramp and slide and soft rubber mulch flooring which 100% recycled and toy safe.

Entrance to the Dorothy Clive Garden will be at the special discounted price of £3.50 per person. Children between the ages on 0-5 are admitted for free and children between the ages of 5-17 are admitted at £2.00. The special afternoon tea for Mothering Sunday will be £7.00 per person and £3.50 per child. No booking is required.
