Celebrate International Dawn Chorus Day at the Dorothy Clive Garden

The Dorothy Clive Garden will be hosting a guided Dawn Chorus Walk with RSPB bird song expert, followed by breakfast, on Monday 5th May 2014 to celebrate International Dawn Chorus Day.

Event organiser, Julia Roberts, said, ‘Visitors will have the chance to explore our woodland quarry and areas of the garden which are densely populated by birds, with a professional bird song expert from the RSPB. Visitors will also be able to enjoy bird song and perhaps even catch a glimpse of the birds themselves.’

Visitors must book onto this event in advance as places are limited.

Arrival is from 4.45am and the event starts promptly at 5.00am. Visitors are asked to meet outside the Bryan Mayer Pavilion. Please use the top car park and bring waterproof shoes.

The Dorothy Clive Garden - a charitable garden trust - was set up in 1958 by Colonel Harry Clive. The objectives are to maintain, enhance and develop a garden inspired by the memory of the late Dorothy Clive to be used for the enjoyment and benefit of the public. Also to support horticultural education for the continuing benefit of both students and the general public.
