If you are looking for a fun and unusual way to spend a summer evening head to Blists Hill Victorian Town, near Ironbridge for their first Ceilidh with traditional folk music, dance and a summer BBQ on The Green on Saturday, 15th August (6.30pm-10.30pm).

The popular, Shropshire Odd Socks Band will lead the lively, social event with fun and challenging dance routines accompanied by a traditional piano accordion, fiddle and guitar and a caller will invite visitors to join in the fun. During the evening you can enjoy a delicious BBQ bap (vegetarian option), which is included in the entry price, and there will also be a pay bar for liquid refreshment.
Blists Hill Victorian Town is one of the ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums, which collectively won a top Gold Award in the Large Visitor Attraction of the Year category at the prestigious VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2015.
Tickets to the Blists Hill Ceilidh, priced at £16 per person, must be purchased online in advance at www.ironbridge.org.uk. All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult, Ironbridge Gorge Museum Annual Passport Tickets are not valid for this evening and dogs are welcome.
