Ludlow’s Loudwater Studio is inviting the local community to come and join them for a whole host of new creative activities as the schools go back for the new term
The Studio, situated on the Burway Trading Estate just off Bromfield Road in Ludlow, has been awarded BBC Creative Champion status and is keen to get the local community involved. To help with this they have come up with a range of different activities that they hope will appeal to all tastes, to give everyone the opportunity to try their hand at something new.
The sessions begin with drop-in Pottery every Tuesday, where people will get the opportunity to get the feel of working with clay without committing themselves to a whole morning or afternoon’s course. As well as this there will be a fortnightly Social Zen Colouring group, introducing people to the relaxation that colouring can bring, while getting everyone together to simply have a great time. There will also be a group for small children with Messy Fingers beginning on 16 September; and for those of you who love nothing better than a good song, why not join them every Thursday morning at their new singing group being run by Sarah Inglis of Sing and Tonic.
Business Development Manager, Nikki Hook said “the Studio is a fantastic place to relax and unwind and we wanted to find a way to give everyone the chance to learn new skills, whilst having a bit of fun. We know everyone tends to think of September as the new term with the children returning to school, so it seemed like the ideal time to start our new activities. There’s lots for everyone to enjoy here, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming new faces.”
For further information or to enquire about booking a place please call the Studio on (01584) 877272 or full details of the activities can be found on the Studio’s website www.loudwaterstudio.org.uk
