Over 10,000 visit Brick History exhibition in first month

The Brick History exhibition is off to a flying start in its first month at Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery with over 10,000 visitors rushing to see history told in Lego®.

In the period between Friday 9 February 2018 and Monday 11 March 2018, staff at the museum welcomed 10,785 excited visitors as people flocked to see this wonderful exhibition.

As well as the stunning Brick History exhibition, there are also lots of activities for children to get involved in. From a 20-second tower building challenge to Lego® galore in the Playzone on the museum balcony.

Brick History takes you on a journey through pivotal moments in world history, modelled in Lego® bricks.

This exhibition has something for people of all ages. From tiny recreations of Concorde and Titanic that would sit in your hand, to a 1.5m square castle bustling with activity in periods of both peace and war, there is something for all to be amazed by and to admire.

Children and adults alike are sure to be inspired by this exhibition and eager to build their own LEGO® models.

Brick History is with Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery until Sunday 15 April 2018, giving it every chance of beating the record figures set by its predecessor, Brick City.
