Celebrate Queen Victoria’s birthday at Blists Hill Victorian Town Spring bank holiday weekend 26th and 27th May

Join the residents of Blists Hill Victorian Town in Shropshire’s Ironbridge Gorge over the spring Bank holiday weekend of 26th and 27th May, when they will be celebrating the birthday and long reign of their much loved Queen Victoria with great pomp and pageantry.

See the Town decorated in patriotic colours of red, white and blue with bunting and flags in the historic streets, shops and houses, and discover how the Victorians enjoyed celebrating birthdays. Don’t miss the special parade taking place on both days and try your hand at a range of fun activities using Victorian techniques such as candle dipping in the Goods Shed. Then tuck into traditional fish and chips from the Fryers or pop into the New Inn and toast Her Majesty!
